Hi! My name is Mateusz but everyone calls me Matt, I guess because it’s easier. I was born in Poland and moved to the UK in 2006. My plan was to stay for a short period of time, but as many of us know plans like to change… and so many years later here I am.

What Can I say about myself:

I think about myself as a man of many talents. I’m constantly exploring and learning new things that I can incorporate into my life. It’s the same with photography I'm constantly learning – not only during sessions, which are an opportunity to expand my portfolio and, above all, to give joy to people, but also during the courses that I take. It is thanks to these meetings with the Master of Photography that I continue to improve my own techniques. Whatever I do, I always try to deliver the best of me.

How my photography journey begins?

When I See other people’s photos either landscape, portrait, family, or street photography.

I often asked myself a question “How did they do that” or had that one thought “It will be nice to be there and experience that”. So, I went and bought my first camera. It was a DLSR Canon 60D. I Played with it for a short period of time but then unfortunately I put the Camara away and let the dust grow. A Few months later I meet a landscape photographer who was talking about photography with such joy and passion. I went back home, dusted my camera off and I can honestly say I haven’t put it down since. I have now upgraded my kit. During lock down it was a great opportunity to learn new techniques and explore new ways. Internet forums were browsed daily, books were swallowed, knowledge was sought from every direction. We all know that the best way to learn is by practice, so I snapped everything and everyone. And that's what's been happening so far.

Today we live In a Virtual Era, where phrase has become more and more popular. When we talk about any product, business or individual, the first thing we do is check their social media profiles, website, and photography content. The truth is that if you don’t have an outstanding visual presence, you’ll struggle to engage with your audience. You won’t be able to grow or look professional in your industry.
